A little about us.

Logan is from Michigan. She is 29 years old. She loves to laugh and has a genuine heart for people. The Lord has gifted her with an ability to minister to young women. She loves to see them walk in the fullness God has provided for them through the life of His Son, Jesus.

Kurt is from Texas. He is 34. He is a geek plays both the guitar and bass. He loves to laugh. He enjoys making people laugh and bringing joy to the places he goes. He has a heart for discipleship and to see people experience the full freedom they have in Christ.

Logan and I met while on staff with Youth With A Mission in Tyler, TX. I completed a year of ministry training with the organization before coming on staff. Logan completed two years of ministry training. We were married in September of 2005, and remained on staff with YWAM Tyler until May of 2006.

From May of 2006 to May of 2008, we were living in Lubbock while Kurt was finishing his undergraduate degree at Texas Tech. While in Lubbock, we stayed involved in ministry. Kurt worked as a youth pastor at the First United Methodist Church of Lubbock. Logan and I also worked at The Wesley Foundation. The Wesley Foundation is the Methodist campus ministry that reaches out to the students of Texas Tech University.

As of May 2008. we are officially back on staff with YWAM Tyler.  Currently, we are living in Lindale, TX.  We are working as full-time missionaries at YWAM’s largest training base in North America.

What do we do?

Logan and I serve logistically at the YWAM Tyler campus. I (Kurt) work full time in YWAM Tyler’s communication department. I work specifically with the web site.

Logan is working full time with YWAM Tyler’s hospitality department. She is also working hard to finish her Bachelor’s degree. In addition to working full-time she is also a full-time student.

We are also helping to pioneer a new branch of the prayer ministry on our campus. We are working along side the current leadership to develop a 24/7 prayer ministry called 24-7 Pumphouse.

This website is hosted with Bluehost.  I use a content management system (CMS) called WordPress to power the site.  Wordpress utilizes  MySql, PHP, and CSS technology to bring you the highest level of enjoyment on the web.  The theme I am using is a personal modification of the theme Vertigo by Brian Gardner.

I do most of my coding with Mac Rabbit’s Espresso and I use Cyberduck for all of my major FTP traffic.
