The Waiting Game
Logan was sitting at her desk at work and her cell phone rang. She looked to see who was calling and noticed that it was our adoption case-worker. Instantly her heart jumped into her throat and her mind began to race, “Could this be it? Are we about to find out that a mother has selected us as her adoptive family? Are we really ready to become parents?” She answered the phone only to find out that our case-worker just needed to double check some facts as she was filling out some paper work on us. This would not be the day when we found out we were going to bring home a new baby.
